Additionally, the GTDC hosts two significant industry events annually, the Global Technology Distribution Summit and an INVESTOR RELATIONS CONFERENCE. The Summit is an intimate, yet powerful gathering of the top distribution and key vendor executives in the channel. It's an invitation-only event that brings together the best minds in today's IT channel to discuss the supply chain as a whole and, specifically, how to make it more efficient for both hardware and software dissemination. The IR Conference, also an invitation-only event, is a targeted gathering of buy- and sell-side financial analysts from the nation's top investment firms that focus on IT distribution and the channel. Both events help the GTDC and its member companies hold open discussions with strategic members of the vendor and analyst communities, bolstering their understanding of the vital role distributors play in the delivery of information technology products.
